You shouldn't be using medicated products to bath as a lady. See reasons

You shouldn't be using medicated products to bath if you are a lady.

(Please read carefully)

This article is to enlighten some ladies who use medicated products while bathing.
Medicated products includes antiseptics, disinfectants and herbals.

Now, you know that the vagina must be thoroughly cleaned or washed while taking a bath. That's where these soaps and antiseptics usage come in.

Generally you are advised not to wash your vagina with soap whether medicated or not. Some do escape that but end up falling for the use of antiseptics and disinfectants by putting them in your bathing water which is causing you harm directly or indirectly.

There are healthy bacteria in the vagina called normal flora. These bacteria are harmless and serve as antigens.

Now remember that medicated products (antiseptics and disinfectants) like dettol are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-virus. When you put them in your bathing water or tub, they gradually kill and eliminate the harmless bacteria in your vagina because you must surely wash that area.

When these bacteria dies, you tend to start having itchy and smelly discharge which is as a result of yeast infection. Yeast infection is not actually a sexually transmitted infection. It can develop as a result of using soaps and antiseptics to wash your vagina.

Ladies are also advised not to wash the vagina with soap because some ingredients in that soap can be eliminating the normal flora in the vagina. You might want to make sure that you wash it thoroughly but believe me, soaps and antiseptics are bad options.

Even if you are bathing with rain water, do not add antiseptics because the normal flora in the vagina can fight for itself.

Medicated products are usually safer for men than ladies.
